Can tests(linux) run on pure text mode?

BurnInTest for Linux requires a GUI. It is hard to test video cards without a GUI.

But you are not the first person to ask for a console mode version. It makes us think we might have made a mistake in investing in the development of a Linux GUI. Doing a pure console app would have saved us a lot of time.

I have a linux system(kernel 2.4.1 which has no XWindow. Does BurnInTest linux support run all the tests on pure text mode(console command prompt)?
