HDD full surface scan setup?

To get maximum speed (and load on the disk) you need to,

1/ Set the disk test duty cycle to 100% (the default is 50%)
2/ Turn off the other tests.

You should be able to scan a 200GB drive in about 3 hours.

Hi:

I have a new 200GB drive I'm testing. (no other tests running) The conventional 1% file size and cyclic tests will take a long time to cover the whole drive surface. It doesn't appear that the test will cover the whole drive surface within 24 hours.

If I want to scan the whole surface, perhaps several times (10x?) and run the test for 24 hours, how should I set the tests to do this?
