The "No operations reported in timeoout period" means that the test that reports the error has not performed any test operations in at least the last 8 minutes. While your post does not explictly show which test reported the error, I will assume it is the 2D video memory test (based on your log entries).
The "No operations" error can occur when the device driver blocks (hangs) on a call from BurnInTest. This can be a Device driver, DirectX or hardware error.
The specific error in your post, 0x88760096, is "Rectangle provided was invalid" (DDERR_INVALIDRECT MAKE_DDHRESULT). I have not seen this error before.
I would first check you have the latest Graphcis card device drivers.
If this does not resolve the problem:
- If you create a Level 2 trace file with the latest version of BurnInTest, V6.0.1028 and email us the *.trace files we can look further.
- In your email, can you please also describe yoru graphics setup and also does the problem occur if you select to test only the local video memory (Prefences->2D) and only run teh 2D Video memory test?
