Disk error is a error on the disk, a cyclic redundancy check. Most likely reason is that the disk is bad,
One log showed potential temperature issues
Temperature, Temperature threshold exceeded
Temperature HDD 0 (ST1000LM035-1RK172): Current 100.0C / Threshold 90.0C
So maybe the disk was too hot. 100C is pretty hot for a drive.
'No operations reported in timeout period' for the sound test means the sound driver crashed or the whole system was super slow. If the system was super slow it might be due excessive load and / or due to memory leaks, which cause a lack of free RAM, which in turn cause disk swapping. Once you start disk swapping then the system can fairly quickly start to thrash under high load. Thrashing then leads to timeouts and crashes.
