  • BurnInTest for Linux - Distro support Mint 19

For BurnInTest for Linux we support a limited number of Linux distributions.

At the time of writing (July 2019) these are,
    • Redhat 7.5, 8
    • CentOS 7
    • Porteus 4
    • Ubuntu 16.10
    • Fedora 26
Over time new releases will be added to the list above.

While we don't test with, or officially support Linux Mint (Cinnamon desktop) we have had a customer reporting some success if getting it working with BurnInTest V4.1 (1000) Linux 64bit. The method was,

"The Synaptic Package Manager to install libqt5printsupport5 and libqt5opengl5. After those were installed I had to open the burnintest folder as root."

The Synaptic Package Manager is built in to Linux Mint. It is one of three native utilities that are available to install software packages.
