    The temperature reported by BurnInTest is from what S.M.A.R.T. reports for the drive. Hence the temperature could be from wherever the sensor is located physically on the drive. Very likely it will be different for each drive. It could be a discrete senor or built into the controller.

    I am using BurnIn test to test M.2 SSD and I wonder if the temperature reported by BurnIn is the junction temperature of the flash used with SSD or it is the package temperature?
