Maybe different serial port device drivers on Win11?
Or maybe different default settings for the serial port in the operating system.

I'm testing RS232, and I already checked the loopback plug pinout, it's no problem. Are you testing RS232 or RS422?
Did you create your own serial loopback plug or was it purchased from us?
BurnInTest was designed to work with a certain pinout, https://www.passmark.com/products/lo...ifications.php
The same H/W configuation with Win10 is no problem, but fail in Win11.Leave a comment:

Burnin test V11.0 (1010) Serial Port fail with Win11
Burnin test V11.0 (1010) Serial Port failed
O.S: Win11
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 255U (Arrow Lake-U)
But, the same configuration under Win10 is pass.
Or in Win11, I modify the Burnin test setting "RTS/CTS test phase" to Disable, it also pass.
So, I think it's related to RTS/CTS.
Anyone meet the same situation?
