  • Video memory corruption in 2D Graphics test

When a "2D graphics test" is performed with my PC, "video memory corruption" message is displayed.
Please let me know the cause which displays this message.

The composition of my PC is as follows.
    CPU:Pen4(2.4GHz)
    RAM:256MB PC2100(DDR266)
    VideoCard:RADEON 7500 PCI x2(DualDisplay)

Since release 3.2 the default 2D graphics test writes and reads test data values directly to the video RAM on the video card.

You get the corruption message if the byte value written is not the same as the byte value read back.

i.e. the video memory didn't remember the right value.

Note: If you have a AGP video card and you have the "All video memory" option enabled in the BurnInTest preferences window, then you need to be aware that the video card may in fact be using normal RAM and not video RAM for all or some of its storage requirements.
