  • Sleeper.exe issue and the workaround

While using Sleeper.exe Ver (2.3 Build 1004) , I found an issue that causes an error message. This issue ONLY occurs if you specify 'Restart automatically after power cycle (Auto run at Startup) in the configuration panel. (Both Vista and XP) The Error Message: Title: Could not edit the registry Text: Unable to edit registry to add auto start for Sleeper. See the configuration settings for this option. The system cannot find the file specified. Icon: ! (Warning) The cause: The registry key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\RunOnce' does not exist. The Fix: Create the registry key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\RunOnce' All is now forgiven. CU Thom
