Dual CPU (Xeon), Single Thread Performance

Yes, it should be the same in most cases (the 2nd CPU will not be used). It a small number of cases it might be worse do to NUMA.

Hello, I am trying to weigh my options between getting multiple cores and a fast single thread performance.

So my question is, why don't the Passmark Dual CPU charts have a single thread performance number?

Would it be safe to assume that the single thread performance for one of two Xeon CPU's is the same if it is on a single or dual motherboard?
