As you have already mentioned you can manually set the number of active CPUs to 1.
This is all the black list. We can't fix the UEFI firmware bugs. The motherboard vendors need to do this.

Excellent. So what would be the next step for me here? Wait for a new release which will let Memtest86 bypass my motherboard?

Not trying to rush you here, just trying to understand how this generally works and how long it could take.

Can you send us your log file.
File is "MemTest86.log" in the 'EFI/BOOT' directory.

Multithreaded testing be better. It places the RAM under higher load, increases temperatures and gets the job done quicker.

Thanks for the response David. I did think the test was taking a long while. It was not even half way through pass 3 (of 4) this morning after 12+ hours. The log is pretty long but I copied the portion of it that appears to have the BIOS Information. If that is not what you were looking for, please let me know and I can attach the entire log.

I purchased memtest86 pro today and am new at the software. During the 1st run I observed that memtest86 is freezing at the start of the 2nd test. I am now running the test in single CPU mode (still going) and was wondering if the multi-CPU test gives a better idea on the integrity the memory than the single CPU test? If yes, why is that the case?

Also, where can I submit information on my CPU/Motherboard so that I can run memtest86 in multi-CPU mode in the future.
