You are right, there is BIOS update available. However, I just run memtest v4 for BIOS and there was no problem with display.

The script was running for 20 minutes and it was error free. I also run BurnIn for RAM, no problems as well. Does that mean my RAM is ok?

What are the specs for the PC and the screen?

The console mode fix you are referring to requires the use of the MemTest86 config file, which is only a feature of the Pro version. The real problem however is a BIOS bug. So is there is a firmware update available try that.

But having the text offset on the screen doesn't stop any of the tests running.

Memtest86 having problem with screen offset

Hey, Im trying to figure out what's wrong with my PC. I tried running newest memtest, but the screen is offset, can't see half of it. I saw sticky post, but if I understand right, the only option is to buy pro version.

Is there a way to fix it for free version? Or maybe I have to use old bios version?
Working...
