I need help, DDR5-6400 memory runs memory test, after running for 3-5 hours, it will get stuck on the test interface, The CPU model is Uitra9 285H, the tool is memory test v11.3, DDR5-6400 memory brands have tried all three, but it has not appeared when replaced with DDR5-5600.

Thank you for your reply, there is another situation that is not expressed, in "CPU Selection" the default is "Parallel (All CPUs)" set to "Single: CPU" or "Round Robin (All CPUs)", and then run with DDR5-6400 memory, there is no problem.Originally posted by David (PassMark) View Post6400 is the maximum supported RAM speed for the Ultra 9 285H CPU. Maybe in your setup it is marginal. (i.e. just on the edge of working).
You might find increasing the voltage very slightly or increasing the timings slightly can get it to work.

I would like to find a way to fix the DDR5-6400 running stuck on memory test default "Parallel (All CPUs)" settingOriginally posted by David (PassMark) View PostThe load will be higher on everything when using parallel testing.
(more heat, more EMI, more electrical current used, higher MB/sec transfer rates, etc..)

To really get to the bottom of the problem you would need a high end bus protocol analyzer. The hardware and software & probes for this type of solution might be around $100,000.
If you don't have any high end equipment then you either
1) Run the RAM slower and have it stable.
2) Start slow adjusting voltage & timing parameters (CAS, tRCD, tRP, and a dozen others...) and hope you get lucky. This can be VERY tedious. And you should also do the tests in a thermal chamber.
3) Go back to the vendors (Intel, the motherboard vendor and RAM vendors) and ask them to fix it.
4) Switch to low power RAM as this CPU supports LP RAM at higher speeds.
