SoundCheck uses DirectX software for accessing some of the advanced features on sound cards. Recent versions of DirectX are included with (or are available for) Windows 98/ME/2000 and XP. Microsoft stopped upgrading DirectX for Windows NT and 95 however.
So Windows 95 and NT are not supported for this particular product.
While it would not be impossible to remove these requirements for DirectX, it would be a significant amount of work and some of the most interesting functionality would be lost from the product.
