If you are quoting the Percentile value in PerformanceTest, note that this is against the world (i.e. all the CPUs in our database). So this will include CPUs that are much more powerful than yours. When talking percentiles, a percentile of 50% is the average, 50% percent of the scores were better and 50% was worse. So anything above 50% is actually above average.

There is another option to switch to the graph to compare it with the same CPU model, which will show you where your CPU compares with others using the same CPU.

I was running Passmark cpu performance test. I'm gettin a low score on Prime numbers and Physics. Physics gives me 62% and Prime numbers gives me 69%. The Cpu single threaded gives me 52%. Why are these scores so low? I have a FX-8350 on Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3.
