crossfire - appearing as single card

I think this is normal.

The device driver makes them appear as a single card to applications.

I have been trying different slots on my pci and one thing that i notice is when i forget to plug my link (bridge) between the two cards it shows 2 cards and i can click on them on the main page and it wil show info on both of them now when i put the link back on and restart the pc and pt test it only shows one I am not sure whats going on here
