I have used this software for years my 2080ti always score 140-160 fos now it will not go past 120fps almost as if its software locked. i have a fresh install windows im at a loss as o the drop in fps. wasnt sure if the test was revamped or i have a whole another problem.

Maybe you have a monitor with a 120Hz refresh rate? -
monitor has a 144hz refreshrate so thats out as well :/ unless its sumhow locking the gpu output to the max of what my 1080p monitor can do at 4k on itself
