It would be interesting. I did not dare to ask for a monthly granularity.
Think what first deviation would indicate? and second?
so far 2015-2018
Bottom 25% moves up 84 points/a
Middle 50% moves up 224 p/a
Top 25% moves up 280 p/a
but the dynamic charts would be cooler

I don't have the distribution figures going back 10+ years. It would take some data mining to calculate them.
You can check the current distribution at any time in the PerformanceTest software by mousing over the chart. See below.
As of today (19/July/2018 ) is it.
Bottom 25% of machines are in the range of 0 - 1260
Middle 50% of machines are in the range of 1260 - 3500
Top 25% of machines are in the range of 3500 - 6800

You forgot to add this tidbit about your score:22nd of January, 2016 Baseline has been excluded from average results due to anomalies in the submitted results. Last edited by FlukeLSX; 01-25-2017, 08:04 PM.

For the PassMark rating (as of 15/Dec/2015).
Bottom 25% of machines are in the range of 0 - 1050
Middle 50% of machines are in the range of 1051 - 2940
Top 25% of machines are in the range of 2941 - 6100
Machines above 6100 are very few and are outliers (freaks). Typically built by people with serious money and time.
Yes, you would need to lift both your disk and memory score to get close to the Top 20 world wide.

PassMark rating - what's a good score
Hi,
I just did the sytem test and received a overall score of around 4.600 - i think i have good system, but compared to the top 20, who feature around 8000, my score seems very low. I am not sure how to interpret some of the results. E.g. my cpu and gpu scores are very high. However, my Disk (2669) and Memory (2630) score are low, compared to others. Does this mean that they are slowing down my system and i should upgrade or is the level of the baseline of the top 20 so high that scores of around 4000 can still be interpreted as very fast?
Thanks!
ps. here are my results:
