    While an increase in the size of the registry is an indication of program bloat, it probably isn't the thing that is causing your PC to be very slow.

    Much more likely to cause slowness are more mundane issues, like not having the right video card device driver, not having enough RAM in the machine and having too many programs run at startup.

    Thanks for your reply. My machine has become very slow. When i was going through articles on performance over the internet i found out that registry entires can also cause the machine to slow down. So wanted to check this on my machine using the registry count tool from Passmark, but wasnt able to locate it on the web anywhere.

    The documentation isn't great, so we don't really want to make it public as is.
