The standard RAM tests are somewhat dependent on the CPU's performance as well as the RAM. If you use the advanced RAM test you get a better indication of the RAM speed.
If this server using Error-correcting code memory (ECC memory)? As ECC RAM can be slower than normal RAM.
The large RAM test is dependent on how much RAM you have. So if you are comparing your score, make sure you have into account how much RAM is in the box you are comparing to.
What machine are you comparing to (the baseline numbers if you have them)?

Low read uncached and large memory results
Hi,
I've did a bench met passmark 7.0 trial and noticed two things :
memory - read uncached : 945.1
memory - large RAM : 3313.2
This is a Dell M610 blade server with 2 * Xeon 5687 and 24GB ram
24GB Memory for 2 CPUs, DDR3, 1333MHz (6x4GB Dual Ranked LV RDIMMs
Its DDR 1333mhz, CL9-9-9 CR 1T, latest drivers, bios, etc...
Installed in the correct way (triple channel per cpu)
Compared to similar systems, it's hardly has half the speed they have.
Dell is also working on the case, but I doubt they are capable of finding the problem.
Do you guys have any idea how come ?
If you need more intel, just shout...Tags: None
