Advanced Disk Test - Random Data?

When writing to the disk we use random data.

For purely read tests we use a technique that simply asks the operating system to create a file of X size for us to read from, without specifying what kind of data is in it.

We do have plans to expand the options for the type of data used in the next major version.

i like using the advanced disk test to messure performance of SSDs. Since some of them compress data, i would like to know what kind of data is used in the test.

Is it fully random data or just zeros?

Is there any way to select what kind of data is used?

If not. would it be possible to include that in the next version.
