Thanks for replying.
But in my case I am using Xperf to log the read/write events. I want to find the total latency incured for writing a file which is in our case ~pttest0.dat. But passmark will first create a file of say 1GB and then again write on it, os the Xperf will log latency for writes+file_create. Is there any way we can give our own created file to passmark so that we can get readings according to it ?
Thanks

The file is created, overwritten and deleted by PerformanceTest.
So it doesn't make any sense to use an existing file.

Advanced Disk Test ~pttest0.dat file problem
Hello All,
I am using Performance Test for benchmarking. It creates a file named ~pttest0.dat for read and write operations in the respective drive. What I want is to give my own file for read/write as input to performance test and make performance test to not create ~pttest0.dat file. I just want it to use my supplied file as input how do i do that ?
Thanks
Kumar
