Score when Disk Mark is run alone

I checked the drive, and it has 640GB of free space, and the drive looks like it is set correct drive. I ran just Disk Mark alone, and it jumped to 20687. then I ran test all again, and it maintained the higher score. I am out of the office today, but will test it on another machine tomorrow. and see if I can reproduce the problem.

NVMe drives can slow down as they fill up but this seems far beyond that (this seem more the speed a USB drive would be returning).
Do you have more than one disk on the system and PerformanceTest is running on the wrong one?
You can check the correct one is selected for the "Drive under test" option in the test preferences.

Low Disk Mark score on Samsung m.2 NVME 980
I am getting a score of 86 on Disk Mark, and I can figure out why. the computer seems to be running well, and most of the scores in other categories are good, but the drive is scoring poorly.
Disk Mark:86
Disk sequential read = 16
IOPS 32KQD20 = 0.1
Disk sequential write = 7.8
IOPS 4KQD1 = 0.0
I assume I am doing something wrong running the test, but I am not sure.
thanks
