Stock RTX 3080 with score higher than RTX 3090

Just to compare, here is the same chart for the 3090.

As you can see there is a BIG overlap in results. The best systems with a 3080 are significantly faster than the worst systems with a 3090.

Here is the distribution of 3DMark results for the 3080 video card.

Getting a result of around 30,000 isn't that unusual. It just means it is a nicely optimised system. And it also the case that not all systems are so nicely optimised. It is fairly easy to have slow 3D (bad cooling, wrong PCIe slots, weak CPU, slow RAM, frame rate limited due to monitor, device driver variations, background bloatware, etc...)

It is not related to the "age" of the chart as we update the chart every few days with new results.

I think is because this chart is from months ago with old PerformanceTest version.

I got also on my RTX 3080, 29400 GPU score and in the chart the 3080 its around 25000.
