Documenting customer support issue:
Problem description:
Crash occurred in 2D test suit on second test (Fonts & Text test) after a video card upgrade.
This test is a combination of using the Windows GDI+ interface and Direct2D (which is part of DirectX and dependent on the video card driver). The crash dump (attached below) wasn't super helpful and there are no existing bugs we know about in this test. The crash dump just reported "Heap corruption".
Solution:
Problem was eventually tracked down to ASUS's Driver & GPU Tweak software Version 1182. This was shipped as part of the ASUS Armoury collection of tools.
An old version of the ASUS software was installed with an original Asus gtx750Ti OC 2GD5, but after an upgrade to 4060 ROG Strix video card, the ASUS software caused a crash in Direct2D.
Removing all ASUS software fixed the problem.
Then after re-installing latest nVidia drivers and ASUS software, it continued to work.
