Send in a debug log if you like, we can take a look

    Hey David,
it is not a VM it is the host itself.

Maybe you only allocated 1 CPU core to the virtual machine?

You can force the number of processes to be a larger value from the Preferences window if you want. But it should auto detect and suggest the correct number of cores to use.

  • Performance Test V11 - Poor CPU values on a Hyper-V host

    Hey there,
today I tried to benchmark a Hyper-V host (Windows Server 2019) with an EPYC 7282 with PTest V11.
The software was started from an USB stick.

Well it showed up really poor performance.
I then checked taskmanager in windows and during tests only 1 CPU is used (I watched during all CPU tests running).

On another PC if I run the same test from the same USB stick and got the expected CPU score and all CPUs were used (AMD 7840HX).

    So where is my mistake?

    Thanks for any hint.
    S.
