Pentium D 3.0 vs Core 2 Duo 1.86

How does a Pentium D 3.0 GHz compares in performance against a Pentium Core 2 Duo 1.86 / 2.13 GHz? Give some comparison data,links in addition to those within this site.

The Core 2 Duo Chips are much faster than the Pentium D. Even if the Pentium D has a higher clock speed.
