No DirectX with BartPE?

So i followed the instructions step-by-step to creating the BartPE disk, with the necessary plugins & BurnIn, but then when I burned the CD, the 3d tests did not work, giving me the error "DirectX Direct3d version required is unavailable"

Any ideas?

You need to install October 2006 DirectX.

Probably the simplest way to do this would be to copy the file
d3dx9_31.dll to the same directory as BurnInTest (or to its intended location, e.g. C:\WINDOWS\system32). If you don't have this file, then you can install BurnInTest on a regular Windows system (no BartPE) as it will install this file.
