  • need RS232 loopback plug male interface

    Hi Passmark,

We need a hundred RS232 loopback plugs male interface to use with BIT and do not know where to buy.

    Do you have some advice?

    Thanks,
    Thanh

If you wanted 1000 or more we could get some custom made up for you. Otherwise you will need to purchase adapters. But are you sure this is what you want? Every PC made in the last decade or so has a male pins on the PC (requiring a plug that has a female connector, which is what we sell as a off the shelf part).

      Thank you,

This kind of loop back is what I need for a special config system.
We need a few hundreds not a thousand.
My coworker has found one adapter for testing on a demo unit.
I am wondering if BIT still works fine in this senerio.

PS: how can I test Fiber optical NIC with BIT, btw?

      Thank again,
      Thanh

If you are using our loopback plugs with a M/M adapter it should be OK.

BurnInTest includes a network test. It doesn't really matter if the physical network is wireless, optical, ethernet or something else. As long as TCP/IP is available.
