Fixed disk error: External plug-in reported error

    Hello,

Was wondering if you could explain this error? The hard drive disk test fails with "External plug-in reported error"

    Version 5.3 (1036)

    Thanks.

    Jay,

It should read, "SMART Threshold exceeding condition detected.". You should be able to see additional information in the previous log file entry.

We will change this text in the latest version of BurnInTest.

    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Ian

      Thanks Ian,

When you say latest version, do you mean 5.3 or 6.X?
I ask because we have only registered licenses for this version.
      Thanks.

        The latest release is V6.0.x
We will no longer providing bug fixes nor new features for the V5.x version.

Hello Ian, unfortunately we have 42 licenses and cost would be prohibitive at this time. Do you know which was the latest 5.X version that did not have this bug?

            Thanks.

I believe this behavior has always been there.
