  • Linux CD Drive mount name

    I have a sata hdd & a pata cddrive, the automounter gives sda to the hdd & hda to the cddrive.
    Under these cirumstances BurnIn Test Linux (V1006) does not list the cd drive under CD-RW/DVD section.

    DISK
    -----
    Media (/media/hda) (/dev/hda)
    Media (/media /sda1) (/dev/sda1)

    CD-RW/DVD
    -----------
    <empty>

    If I unmount the hda and remount as cdrom, it then pops up under the CD-RW/DVD section. I would rather not have to do this, can you help?

    It sounds like it is being auto mounted in a way so BurnInTest can't determine that it's a CD drive, could you please run BurnInTest with the -d command line parameter, run it after the auto mount so it lists the CD drive incorrectly and send a copy of the debug.log file to me at timr [at] passmark [dot] com.
