  • Burn in test Log report

Hey guys, I saw a similar post in regards to this error, but the solution doesn't work for me. So here we go,

    Error messages:
math, Incorrect 128bit (SIMD-SSE) floating Point multiply
    math, SSE Operation Verification Failed

AMD Athlon II X3 (Unlocked to x4)
    Win 7 64 bit
    4GB Ram

Tests being Ran, CPU Math test 100%, RAM Test 100%

Mainly, what does the error message mean?

  • #2
The error means that a 128bit multiply operation returned the wrong result in the CPU.

    A bit like this,
    2 x 3 = 7

What version of BurnInTest are you running?

You didn't mention the exact version. But there was a bug fix a couple of years back in Version 6.0 build 1011 for a similar problem.

so this error msg should be fixed by the version of 6.0 build with 1011 or later, right?
