  • Two Memories - One Failed

When you use up two memories, it is possible to know which of the memories failed separately?

    Not directly.
You need to swap each stick, one at a time and re-test, to find out which one is bad.

There is a possibility of this being taken into account, as an improvement?

Unlikely. We could maybe get the physical address (as opposed to the virtual address which is already reported). But even with the physical address we won't know if the RAM is dual channel, or tri channel. And from a software point of view we don't know which slot has physical address 0. So even for example of we knew it was the 3rd slot, we couldn't tell you which slot was number 3 on the motherboard (as each board is different).
