Motherboard serial number

Hi all , i have a problem with burn in , some computers dont give the information of the motherboard serial number , it appears "based board serial number " anyone knows how to solve this?

I agree, not all BIOS manufacturers operate the same. Even in my own work where I typically will only use Manufacturer or Model, some systems do not keep the correct information in there. As for how to recommend you fix this problem, I'm not sure that there is a real software fix for it, especially in the case of the board serial number.

You could try asking the manufacturer to fill in this field in BIOS/SMBIOS.
