We saw a case today where the 2D test ("All available memory" option) would crash when trying to run on a Windows 10 system with an Intel integrated video card (Intel HD 530).
The system was using driver version 22.20.16.4659 (13-Apr-2017) and was displaying the error "Hardware-only DirectDraw object creation not possible" when the test was started shortly before causing BurnInTest to crash. Once the Intel driver was updated to the latest available 22.20.16.4675 (11-May-2017) the crash no longer occurred.
The "Hardware-only DirectDraw object creation not possible" error is related to DirectDraw acceleration (as displayed in the DXdiag utility) being disabled on the system.
