BurnInTest v6.0 Test Serial Port Loopback issues

There are our test settings as below:

1. BurnInTest Professional v6.0 Pro
2. Operating System Windows XP SP2
3. Test hardware platform:SIO Winbond W83627UHG control 6 RS232 COM Port
4. Test Preference： 6 Serial Port Speed 115200 max load.

The error message "no operations reported in timeout period" on COM4 only, I can't remove COM4 in windows device manager and disable bit.exe in task manager after error was occurred,do you have any suggestion about the situation? thanks for your help.

Both the version of XP and BurnInTest you are using are old. You should consider upgrading.

"No operations" normally indicated a software crash or lock up. I am guessing the COM port device driver for your 6 port I/O card has a bug and has crashed.
