  • BurnInTest v3.0 1006 DVD function can't read/verify

    BurnInTest v3.0 1006 DVD function can't read/verify
    OS: RHEL 6.3 x64
    Tools: Burn In Test v. 3.0 1006.

    Tried mount DVD-ROM and launch BITv3.0 1006.
And I select CPU, RAM, CD/DVD of 3 test items.

After I start testing under BIT v3.0 1006 then found only CPU & RAM Test item is running but CD/DVD (Read/Verify) no any action.

    Verification:
Change back from BurnInTest v.30 1006 to BurnInTest v3.0 1005 is working fine.

    Please advise.
    Thanks.
    Mark

I believe we have been able to reproduce this issue, there is a new build at http://www.passmark.com/ftp/bitlinux3.0.1006a.tar.gz that should fix this problem.

      Tim,
      Thanks for quickly replied.
Could you let me know bitlinux 3.0 1006a is beta release or next final release?
      I found bitlinux 3.0 1006 & 1006a have another issue as below.
      1. Launch bitlinux 3.0 1006(a) then set all want to test items and click "X" for Exit.
      2. Launch bitlinux 3.0 1006(a) and found error loading LastUsed.cfg at second times launch.

      Please advise.
      Thanks.

      Mark.

This is currently a beta release, we'll look into the configuration issue.

There is an updated beta build at http://www.passmark.com/ftp/bitlinux3.0.1006b.tar.gz that should fix the configuration problem (the file was not being marked as a BurnInTest configuration file correctly after being updated for the new version).

            Hi Tim,
I will try with 3.0 build 1007 for this issue again.

Does the BIT v3.0 build 1007 could support freebsd 8/9?
            Please advise.
            Thanks.

No testing has been done on BSD Unix.
