What is the Bluetooth test doing?

I am using the Bluetooth test for the first time and was curious as to what the test is actually doing or is capable of doing?

Bluetooth Connection Test - The test has been designed to test to a mobile Bluetooth device supporting the "File transfer" service profile e.g. Pocket PC, mobile phone and iPhone. It is not for PC to PC testing

Bluetooth Advance Test (new in V9 Pro) - The Bluetooth test will connect to the remote Bluetooth enabled computer running the Endpoint software and perform a half or full duplex data transmission test with option to verify the data sent from one computer is the same as the data received on the other computer. It is similar in operation of Advance Network Test and uses the same Endpoint software.
