Linux 3.1: Error when starting cmdline version with Terminal

I try to start the Command Line Version other a TelNet Terminal.
with following Parameters:
"./bit_cmd_line_x32 -C config.txt"

I am logged in as root and I get following error (response):
"Error opening terminal: network."

I've no Idea what this means or what can cause this error.

We aren't able to replicate the same problem (we tested using SSH) though this seem to be quite a common issue when trying to run console programs via telnet. Before running BurnInTest if you use the command "export TERM=xterm" does it work as expected?

Hi,
meanwhile I solved the problem by myself.
When I start the console program with putty (with or without SSh doesen't matter) it functions.
It's a little bit difficult to explain, but we use a selfmade minimized telnet-client for communication in our Testprogramms. This Client refuses all Telnet-Commands. Also the "DO Terminal Type" command. So I enhanced Client to handle this option and now it functions.
