You can find a link to the PDF User's Guide on the download page,
    http://www.passmark.com/download/bit_download.htm

No you can not set a manual data pattern.
We support 0x5555 and 0xAAAA but not 0x55AA

I have made a note of the request however, and we should be able to add a few more test patterns in the next major release of BurnInTest.

      David:

      Thank for the quickly response~

For run time product, debug message was not enough.

      For example:
SERIOUS: 2013-11-05 14:58:06, Disk, F: Data Verify failure
LOG NOTE: 2013-11-05 14:58:06, Disk, File: F:\BurnInTest test files\~bittestF00002, Value Read: 0, Value Expected: 41, Offset in file 1725431808, Ops: 264601862144
User cannot found out trend of the fail easily.(Ex: shift 1 bytes/random bit fail/fail start from byte 1999 to bytes 33244/fail at 400th~511th bytes of sector)

Can PassMark provide some mechanism for quickly find which byte/what pattern was wrong when compare fail?(Ex: save source pattern/disk pattern at different log)?

It was every helpful for user. i hope PassMark can add this feature at future product.

      Thank again.
