  • BurnInTest is not really effective for its task

It would be great guys if you made the application really burn one's CPU.

There are a lot of utilities which utilize SSE2/AVX/AVX2 and do that a lot more effectively, namely
    1. OCCT Perestroika
    2. CST (CPU Stress Test) : testmem.tz.ru/cst.htm
    3. LinX stress test
    4. PowerMax www.cpuid.com/softwares/powermax.html
    5. Prime95

Maybe you are using an very old version of BurnInTest, or didn't pick the right settings or didn't actually do the comparison to collect the evidence (or just trolling).

BurnIntest uses AVX, AVX2, FMA3 and FMA4 (on CPUs that have support for these instructions).
In terms of getting the CPU hot it far exceeds the performance of Prime95 & OCCT.

We did the measurement and you can find the heat testing results here.

Yeah, I tried your applications four or five years ago and it was not really good back then.

Looks like the issue has long been fixed. Sorry for the noise then - I didn't mean to troll or anything.
