  • WinPE Boot Image with Windows 10 for BITS Pro 9 - Any Help Appreciated

The posted guide for creating the WinPE bootable image that includes Burn-In Test Pro is a bit dated (2014). Does anyone out there have updated information they can share on how to quickly get this built in a current Windows 10 environment with version 9.0 of BITS Pro? I need to PXE boot and test bare metal PCs and I'd rather not go back to old versions of Windows and older versions of PE just to follow instructions written six years ago.

While dated the document is still valid for WinPE for Windows 10. The process is still the same, you create the base WinPE image, you export BurnInTest (File->Install to USB Drive), add any (optional/required) files/drivers, save the image with the modified content and burn to your USB Flash Drive.

If you are using WinPEBuilder, the most common issue user face when using Windows 10, is Microsoft changed WinPE to be an add-on to the WADK and needs to be installed separately.
