  • Is there a step by step instruction to setup and run a BurninTest PXE Server?

I was using BurninTest in a Production enviroment, but the new processors does not PXE Boot from the Ubuntu 10.04. So I Updated from 10.04 to Ubuntu 12.04 to and now It does not work anymore. It boots from the server but doesn't load the image. The biggest problem is that Who set it up at first doesn't work here anymore, and I am a newbie in Linux. Also during the update some libraries scripts were modified. My big questions is there a step by step instructions to set this server from zero, or try to fix it?

    Regards,

    Jay

We don't have any setup instructions for creating a Linux PXE boot server, you would need to refer to a distribution specific guide for it.

In most cases we would recommend running off a USB drive or CD instead (http://www.passmark.com/support/bitl...ot_cd_slax.htm).

Just as a reference for people using BurnInTest for Windows, Windows PXE boot with BurnInTest is documented here for the upcoming BurnInTest 8.0:
