  • Error verifying data in RAM in Burnin v9

    Hi,

I've installed two DDR4-2666 32GB memories in my system

    And I've tried:

    1. Burnintest v9.0. Test for CPU + Memory + 2D +3D for 16 hrs. 1 memory error.
    2. Memtest86 v7.5 for 23hr (3times). PASSED.
    3. Brurnin test v9.0. Run memory test only for 21hrs. 8 memory errors.

error log of the third test:

SERIOUS: 2020-11-26 01:09:42, RAM, Error verifying data in RAM
LOG NOTE: 2020-11-26 01:09:42, Memory (RAM), Process 3, Data verify error: virtual address 0x000000021DC4AED0, read 0xaaa2aaaaaaaaaaaa, expected 0xaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
LOG NOTE: 2020-11-26 01:09:42, Memory (RAM), Process 3, Current pattern: 64-bit Binary 1 (10101010), bits in error 0x0008000000000000

The above happened 7 times. (same virtual address)

SERIOUS: 2020-11-26 01:59:38, RAM, Error verifying data in RAM
LOG NOTE: 2020-11-26 01:59:38, Memory (RAM), Process 0, Data verify error: virtual address 0x00000000F1E51098, read 0xffffffffffffffef, expected 0xffffffffffffffff
LOG NOTE: 2020-11-26 01:59:38, Memory (RAM), Process 0, Current pattern: 64-bit Ones (11111111), bits in error 0x0000000000000010

    The above happened 1 time.

What could be the possible reasons for this situation?
Cause I can't seem to narrow down the root cause of this error.

I'm starting to have concern over the version of Burintest I used...
    Should I try v8.1 instead?

RAM data verify errors are normally caused by bad RAM.
Try testing 1 stick at a time.
