It is almost sure it is this problem,
    http://www.passmark.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=383
Which as detailed above, turned out to be a bug in the Windows O/S. Microsoft issued a patch which should fix it.

But we are also aware of another problem 'Access violation at 0x7566420B...' which we believe is related to a bug in nVidia video card device drivers before V65.20.

I did the hotfix....now I can do the performance test ok but I still get the error when trying the burn in test...
I have the invidia 7300, with 8.3.9.1 version drivers.

      Thanks

        Can you,

        1) Tell us all the details, including the exact crash address and the module name if it appears. I would be surprised if the crash address was the same for both issues.

        2) Run one test at a time in BurnInTest to narrow down the particaular test causing the problem. The 3D and 2D video tests cause the most problems in general. Almost every video card device driver released in the last 5 years has had bugs in it. And the situation is even worse with SLI video.

Video seems fine, when testing audio I went bluescreen.
there is definitly a problem with my soundblaster audigy 2.
          still testing

          Thanks

It appears I have found the problem, apparently I had the driveres loaded for the asus onboard sound (even though it was disabled) and it caused a conflict with the audigy sound card drivers....
            Thanks for the help.

Thanks also for posting details of the solution. It is always good to get to the bottom of these issues.
