    Linux Live CD?

    Hi,

after moving the Bootable USB Flash Drive (UFD) to linux.

Maybe it is time for a live CD/DVD for easy testing?

    with best regards

    Andreas

PS: A power cycle test can be easy included under linux with.
    /usr/sbin/rtcwake -s 20 -m off

OUR FAQ guide at the moment is mainly written form the viewpoint of USB creation however creating a LiveCD can be done in almost the same way (Slax has both a CD and USB version).

      Hi,

yes. This is fine for linux user like me.

      I use:
      wget http://www.passmark.com/ftp/bitlinux.tar.gz
      tar -xzf bitlinux.tar.gz
      /home/demo/burnintest/64bit/bit_gui_x64 2>/dev/null &
or something like this with my favorite linux.

But for a quick test of a non linux user a nice live Ubuntu CD would
show the advantage of burnin and linux. Also a headless test over ethernet
in the browser with "shellinabox" and bit_cmd_line_x64 would be nice.

I would like if burnin on linux would be uesd more ....

Thanks for your answer may be my suggestion will find a friend.

      with best regards Andreas
