Does BIT collect system information and other telemetry and send back to Passmark, or is the data safe and stays with the device? i.e CPU speed, type, performance, reliability, etc.

No system information is reported back to us, nor the test results, if you purchase the software - there is a check when you enter the license key to see if its valid, nothing else.
There is a option to use the Management Console software to record the test results, but if you are using this option, you are storing it on your own database at your premises.
