Has anyone tried BurnInTest on Haswell-EP systems with loads of cores? These are the Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 series. Does the maximum heat algorithm also push a system with dual sockets and 12-18 cores per socket up to a true maximum temperature?

Tried the trial BIT 8.0 on a system with dual Intel Xeon E5-2680 v3 CPUs. Those are Haswell-EP with 12 cores each. Seems to run ok. However, in the test report, temperature Min/Current/Max values are shown for all CPU cores except that cores 6 and 7 on both CPU 0 and 1 are all "NA / NA / NA".

To help us investigate, could you please email us a trace log file showing the test run with temperature reporting?
Please turn on Preferences->Logging, Activity trace 2 (text) and set the Logging interval to 1 minute. Please run the test for a couple of minutes with the CPU temperature monitoring and send us the *.trace files to:

Thanks.
