Burnin Test showed cpu temperature critical. What should I do.

    g'day from Australia.

I have just downloaded the demo of BurninTest

I ran the diagnostics and the one problem that showed was the temperature CPU threshold becoming critical.

    For example

    LOG NOTE: 2015-04-26 14:32:59, BurnInTest, Temperature CPU 0 average: Current 93.5C / Threshold 90.0C

What steps should I take to resolve this issue? I have no idea regarding hardware.

    Thank you for your help.

    Paul.

Ps. The system that I have is

The system that I have is Windows Xp Professional

    processor Intel i7 cpu 960 @ 3.20 Ghz 3.20 GHz

    Installed memory (ram) 24.GB

    System type 64-bit Operating system

Check that all the fans are working
Check that the box isn't full of dust.
Check that the heatsink is attached correctly to the CPU.
