BurnInTest Motherboard Serial Number Reading Pattern

Hi everyone

I use BurnInTest to check some PCs and make sure of health. But real serial MB`s Serial Numbers in differnet to the one that BurnIsTest can read.

for example:

BurnInTest MB Serial Number:

Motherboard Serial Number: 109822190000539

Real serial number on the box:

N1M0CS01204247A

I wonder why BurnInTest pattern is different

BurnInTest is just reading the value from the Windows WMI information (specifically the Win32_BaseBoard / SerialNumber value), it's up to manufacturers to ensure this data is entered (and correct), sometimes they just don't bother (or are using a totally separate number or encoding).
